The production site of this potato processor had been operating at full capacity on Callens steam for a while. But more was needed. With a number of French fries lines being added to the recently built facility, the boiler room we developed some time ago was also in need of expansion. On the basis of the kilos of potato chips that have to come down the production lines every day, we calculated the extra steam output that would be required.

We selected a steam boiler with two combustion chambers that generate 30 tons of steam per hour, equipped with two Low NOx duobloc Weishaupt natural gas burners to provide our client with round-the-clock production reliability. At that, the company enjoyed complete peace of mind from start to finish because we designed the entire boiler room, seamlessly connected it to the new circuit and even laid the pipeline network.
