E-boilers for a new production line
Two 5 MW e-boilers now handle the site's entire steam supply. The initial configuration designates one unit as a backup for the other.
However, thanks to their generous sizing, both boilers can operate simultaneousl, making the setup ideal for future production expansions.

With an electrical efficiency of 99.9%, the e-boilers prove their worth as a highly efficient, low-carbon heat solution. Since the water is heated directly by electricity, hardly any energy is lost.
Balanced energy across the site
The balance of plant includes a range of technologies to maintain a stable energy flow across the site. The boiler room was equipped with:
- a feedwater tank
- a condensate receiver
- a thermal deaerator
- a high-pressure steam collector
- the full piping network
The new installation also provides greater operational flexibility across the entire site.
