Air handling units for different production zones
Two air handling units keep the air nice and fresh continuously. The first air handling unit with a flow rate of 30,000 m3/h ventilates the zone where bakery products are made and packed. Our stable temperature ensures a pleasant climate where both products and employees flourish. The second air handling unit with a flow rate of 14,000 m3/h provides the ideal indoor climate where the baking trays are located.
Air management with attention to detail
We control the humidity balance in each zone precisely with our siemens S7-1500 PLC. Furthermore, we connected the air handling units to a boiler, collector, balance tank, sanitary hot water tank, heat exchangers, air heaters, air coolers, a compressed air network, ... In short: everything for an optimally adjusted ventilation system. We worked, by the way, with round, insulated textile ducts without discharge perforations in delicate places for extra food safety, since these are easy to clean.
Not a breath of heat is lost. The ventilation systems use fresh and recovered air, from which we extract heat. The opposite is also true. With the cool night air, we delightfully lower the temperature during hot summers without driving the cooling batteries to their maximum.
