Because of the direct heat transfer via electric current through water, the energy losses are minimal, which is why electrode boilers often attain efficiencies of more than 99 %.
Furthermore, e-boilers start up very quickly and respond to changing needs in a flash, which makes them ideal for processes with a variable heat demand.
Electrode boiler control system designed in-house
Electrode boilers come with a control system as standard. Our E&I Department develops it in-house to guarantee a powerful connection between the system and the source of energy. We adjust the control system in such a way that it takes account of the availability and the price of electricity. In addition, production demand is an important key to the design.
